Emma studied law at Queen’s University. She qualified as a Solicitor from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast before joining Francis Hanna & Co.

Emma is a Solicitor within the Family Law department and advises clients in relation to all aspects of family law. Emma is particularly experienced in providing advice in private law Contact and Residence proceedings and is an accredited member of the Northern Ireland Children Order Panel, a specialist panel of Solicitors who are highly experienced in representing parties in children’s proceedings.

Emma further provides specialist advice and assistance to victims of domestic abuse in obtaining legal protection via the Courts by way of Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders and injunctive proceedings.
